GinGingers is currently working with the University of Bradford on research exploring approaches to reducing the characteristic odour associated with Apple Cider Vinegar, while considering the formulation principles and qualities important to the GinGingers product.
The objective isn't simply to cover the aroma with something else.
The research is about exploring whether we can create a more comfortable and accessible customer experience while continuing to learn more about the formulation itself.

For a small independent brand, GinGingers has built a strong network of academic, research and innovation collaborations, working with the University of Bradford, University of Huddersfield, Sheffield Hallam University, Coventry University, Biorenewables Development Centre / University of York, and CPI Newcastle to explore formulation development, ingredient performance and future innovation. Current research includes apple cider vinegar odour reduction and future microbiome-conscious formulations, while retaining the ingredients and principles at the heart of GinGingers and helping shape the next generation of the brand.
