Ingredients
What’s inside our gel — and why it’s there.
We don’t use fillers or overcomplicated blends. Every ingredient in GinGingers has a job to do — and it’s all been chosen for a reason.
Apple Cider Vinegar
Used as far back as 5000 B.C., even Hippocrates reportedly swore by it. ACV has stood the test of time — and for good reason.
It’s packed with natural antibacterial and antifungal properties, making it a favourite for blemish-prone skin. Thanks to naturally occurring alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs), it helps exfoliate gently and improve tone and texture. People also use ACV to help with skin tags, smelly feet, dandruff, eczema, and even sunburn.
The Apple Cider Vinegar we use is something special.
It’s made using organic farming methods and a slow, traditional fermentation process, using apples grown with care for over 40 years. It has an acidity of around 4%, and importantly — it contains ‘The Mother’. That’s the cloudy stuff you sometimes see in real vinegar. It’s full of beneficial enzymes, proteins, and friendly bacteria — and it’s a sign of quality and purity.
We’ve tried a lot of vinegars. This is the one we trust for your skin.

Witch Hazel Extract
A classic, natural distillate known for calming irritated skin. Witch hazel helps tighten pores, soothe bites and sunburn, and reduce inflammation. It’s a gentle astringent that’s been relied on for generations to support healing and reduce redness (and ours is alcohol free).

Liquorice Root Extract
One of our favourites. Liquorice root is full of glycyrrhizin, a powerhouse compound with anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antioxidant effects. It’s known to help soothe upset skin and naturally brighten the complexion over time. Not to mention that it has a special connection to our hometown of Pontefract!

Meadowfoam Seed Oil
Cold-pressed from the seeds of the Limnanthes alba plant, this oil is rich in long-chain fatty acids and antioxidants. It hydrates deeply without clogging pores, helping lock in moisture while leaving skin soft and smooth. It’s non-greasy, non-comedogenic and perfect for skin that needs nourishment without heaviness.

Tea Tree Oil
Nature’s well-known antiseptic.
Tea tree oil is trusted for its antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties. We use it to complement the vinegar - especially in treating spots, clogged pores and fungal flare-ups like athlete’s foot or nail issues.
It’s a strong ally in keeping things clear, clean, and calm.
